There are sports offered but almost everything is a waiting list. They now have a "lottery" for people wanting their kids in gymnastics not sure about the other sports. They need more spots/teachers to accompany the kids on base. There isn't a whole lot to choose from and a lot isn't offered till over the age of 5. The pool is only open during the summer would be nice if they had an indoor one like Ramstien :/

There is a parent co-op, which allows you to drop your Child(ren) off for X number of days that week (depends on how many children you have) and they stay for three hours each time as long as you volunteer one day each week. I was involved with the parent co-op on base from 2004-2007. It provided babysitting services in the morning in exchange for the parent working at least one morning during the same week that you drop off your own kids. This service was invaluable for me when I first arrived and did not know anyone to share babysitting with, yet I was preggers and had regular doctors?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ appts I needed to get to, too. I also met a lot of other moms right away this way, and was able to take a Italian class on base in the mornings for several weeks.
