The MTF is OK for routine care. You can usually get a same day appointment if you or your child is sick. Dr. Clark, the pediatrician is good. You will sometimes wait an hour or more at the pharmacy because there are a lot of retirees in the area who use the post pharmacy.

The local hospital ER is good. They have signs posted in their rooms that tell you about how long you can expect to wait based on what tests they?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ve had to run. They?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢re good with kids. Triage is timely during off peak times.

Local specialists are good, but expect to drive up to an hour to see one. Some are located in Hershey and Gettysburg depending on what you need. We see an allergist, ENT, GI, ABA, and neurology. Wait times for appointments depends on the practice and how busy they are.

Wait times for evaluation for early intervention services can be SLOW. You need to keep track of dates and who you talk to and when to make sure your child is moving through the system properly.

For parents of kids on the autism spectrum, the ABA therapy is great!

For families that have members enrolled in EFMP ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú I just learned that while you do all the paperwork (at least we did) through the pediatrician?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s office in the clinic, there?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s also an EFMP coordinator in the ACS office for things like community info and respite care.

For families with kids on the autism spectrum, I highly recommend the ABA therapy that is offered as part of the ECHO benefits.

All of the staff at the clinic is courteous and helpful. If you don?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t know, just ask, and they will be glad to help.

Wait times can be long at the pharmacy as many retirees get their prescriptions filled here too.

The clinic closes at noon on Thursdays, and is open until 7pm Tuesdays with limited services.

Call first thing in the morning. You have the option to leave a message, and they usually call back, but not always.
