I also reccomend recieving medical care off post as it is not the greatest at any of the facilities on post in my personal opinion. The wait to be seen is sometimes unacceptable, staff come and go very often,The pharmacy at Evans Army Hospital is a very busy place with a very long wait. The needs of younger children are not met in most facilities’ waiting rooms especially at Evans. Balfour Beatty is good at repairing things efficiently and in a timely manner and are mostly very nice and polite.

An awesome dentist to see is Dr. David Johnson. They accept United Concordia, are knowledgable about what UC covers, and are friendly. I miss them since we left!

They use waterlase technology, so if you need a cavity filled they do not use the traditional drill, they use water to carve and clean and then fill it. Less pain, smaller hole, all around better!

They see patients as young as 3 years old. And right before we left they had moved to a new, bigger office and each hygenist has their own room that they had decorated and each chair is equipped with a tv that has all of the channels!

Evans Army Community Hospital is on post and offers many services to Soldiers and families. You will also have the choice to use the Premier Army Health Clinic off post located at Union Blvd & Austin Bluffs Pkwy. I chose to go off post and the clinic is great and we love our doctor. We have 1 doctor for both my children and myself…makes it much easier.

Evans Army Community Hospital’s OB/GYN clinic was great. I was there quite a bit due to pregnancy complications and saw many doctors and nurses – everyone was wonderful, even amidst my difficult pregnancies.
