Newport News Park is gorgeous. It is located right outside of the main gate, on the corner of VA-105E and Jefferson St. Deer, ducks, geese, turtles, fish, dragon flies, fire flies, rabbits, squirrels and birds. They have nature trails, 5 or 6 playgrounds, a bike trails, discovery center, picnic areas, camping, fishing, boat/canoe rentals, volleyball area, golf course and TREES everywhere!
