We had great service at Family Eye Care Center on 10th. I thought the contact lens exam was a little pricey but other than that fantastic doctors and staff. I have heard good things about the Walmart (also on 10th) eye center but have not personally gone there.

St. John had a very efficient emergency room (hopefully you won't need it!) but they were very professional.

Lots of great docs in the area. Dr. McAllister is a great pediatrician with a small practice so it is easy to get an appointment. Dr. Kittle is probably the best pediatric dentist I have ever met or will ever meet again. Awesome guy. Dr. Albright is good too if you are looking for an orthodontist. Both are retired full birds.

The installation hospital has limited services. I?｢どｨび｢m currently pregnant and had to be referred to an off-post doctor since Munson does not handle prenatal care and does not deliver babies.

If you are looking for a great family dentist I would say check out Heartland Dental. Their staff is awesome. They are great at working with you and trying to find the right appointment time to fit your needs. They also offer a payment plan and online billing as well. http://www.heartlanddental.com/

As for Eye Care, the PX on post has a great eye doctor awesome staff.

Those who are expecting moms: many of the people I know had their Babies at the Overland Park Hospital: http://www.oprmc.com/. They all raved about the great services they received while there. =)

There is no hospital here. There is a family clinic and a medical center, which does perform some surgical procedures, but most of the time you have to go to one of the three hospitals out in town. For specialized care for children, you are usually referred to Children?｢どｨび｢s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, which is a 40- 60 minute drive depending on traffic.
