We don?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t have kids so I can?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t go into very details, but our friends did and they never complained. There?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s a small comunity college out of one of the gates, very close to post. As in colleges there are not many close in the area unless you drive 1+ hours.

Forewarning you right now, they paddle children at schools here, as they are still SO archaic in that they allow corporal punishment still (hello, it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s 2010!?) and so you MUST submit, in writing, should you oppose to them beating your child.

Fight for your rights for your children ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú interview your child?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s teacher, you have every right to do so, because some of them here are just UNBELIEVABLY strict. We chose Pickering schools because they actually listened to our issues. South Fort did not, although my children?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s teachers were wonderful in the third grade, not-so-much for the 4th grade, and the principal will NOT listen to your issues, considering them ?¢‚Ǩ?ìhearsay.?¢‚Ǩ¬ù

North Fort is a nice school, but some of the teachers are well beyond their prime and should retire or get out of teaching, as they are mean.

All in all, I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢m not particularly pleased with the schooling here, especially after my children were in DOD schools at Bragg all their schooling life before this, but what can I do? This is what?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s afforded to us here. Am looking forward to moving from here and praying my children won?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t be behind curriculum-wise elsewhere.
