housing is terrible here. i live in the old houses and they are not worth my husbands entire bah allowance. rooms are small and the house has so many bugs. balfour beatty doesnt give a shit about complaints. 

Absolutely do not live in base housing if you can help it. Mold is rampant and Balfour Beatty will do NOTHING about it. Old housing is awful all the way around. New housing is better but due to the houses being built so quickly there are ALOT of flaws. I recommend living in Hanahan Crowfield Plantation or there are some really nice apartments by Walmart in Goose Creek or University Boulevard.
