The hospital is new and one of the few medical treatment facilities with ALL kinds of services. It?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s not just a clinic but a full medical facility! I have read only positive responses. You can get referred out to other providers ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äúbut most likely you?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ll have to go a bit farther to get good medical services: At Keesler AFB, Prime enrollees can obtain referrals from their PCM and obtain an authorization/appointment from the Referral Management Center. When you get a referral from your PCM, please wait for a phone call from the Referral Management Center or a letter from Humana Military Health Services. If you need to contact the Referral Management Center for referral information you can do so at 376-0490. You can also contact Humana about the status of a network referral at 1-800-444-5445.

For any other TRICARE questions, please contact the Keesler TRICARE Office at 228-376-3101, or a Health Benefits Advisor at 376-4752. To get medication or refills: Pharmacy (Main Outpatient) is located in the medical center basement, just inside the outpatient clinic entrance. It provides service of new prescriptions issued by the 81st Medical Group clinics. Hours of operation are 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. Closed on weekends, holidays and command-directed family days.

Pharmacy (Satellite), open in a temporary building next to the AAFES Four Season?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s Store, at the Corner of Meadows Drive and 2nd Street. Hours of operation are 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday. Closed on weekends, federal holidays and command-directed family days. This pharmacy will fill new prescriptions from off base, for authorized beneficiaries, for medications listed on the 81st MDG Formulary. Copies of the formulary are available on request at the pharmacy, or can be obtained at the following website: http://www.keesler.af.mil/shared/media/document/AFD-100212-024.doc

Refills of prescriptions originally filled at Keesler should be requested by calling the automated call-in refill system at (228) 376-1000. Refills may be picked up at the Satellite pharmacy 8 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday-Friday or at the Satellite?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s drive-up window which is open until 5:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays for pickup only.

As before, the pharmacy can refill prescriptions that are already in their computer profile (ones that were originally filled at Keesler). However pharmacy staff will not call for ?¢‚Ǩ?ìtransfers?¢‚Ǩ¬ù of prescriptions originally filled at another pharmacy. In those cases, the patient will need to ask their provider to write a new prescription. Make an medical appointment like this: There are two fast and easy methods available for TRICARE beneficiaries to schedule their medical appointments.

1. TRICARE Online (TOL) provides patients the opportunity to book their own appoints using the internet. This service is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

You can access TOL at http://www.tricareonline.com and register as a beneficiary. Each family member under TRICARE will have to register separately.

TRICARE Online is a secure web portal designed to increase access to care for authorized TRICARE beneficiaries.

2. Keesler Medical Center TRICARE Prime beneficiaries may use the 1-800-700-8603 appointment line to book appointments, cancel and or reschedule appointments, and leave telephone consults for their primary care managers.

Unfortunately, Keesler Medical Center does not have the capability to accept ?¢‚Ǩ?ìspace-available?¢‚Ǩ¬ù TRICARE Standard/Extra beneficiaries for care at this time.

The appointment line is open for all TRICARE Prime beneficiaries from 6 a.m ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú 6 p.m. Monday-Friday. Active duty members needing an appointment may call from 5am ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú 6pm
