An alternative for the parks on base, there is a big play area located inside the PX on Ramstein Airbase. Which is 10 minutes from Lanstuhl Regional. There are after school programs and teen programs on base as well. MWR does coordinate things for the children as well. The elementary/middle school hosts family nights and carnivals as well. There is a website that most people use to find out about the festivals and activities in the towns on the weekends.
