Housing on installation? Relatively older housing but definitely decent. Few actual houses (25 or 30 tops at that time). I would be surprised if there were any more now due to the draw down and lessening of down range troop deployment. Small installation so these houses are very convenient to everything on base. A little bit of a drive (maybe 10 minutes to Moron and 15 or so to Utrera a bit bigger town) to town.

Housing off installation? We lived in Utrera as did many other AF families mostly because we could nit get a house on base. It was a great experience. Mostly townhouse/apartment type living but some single homes were available. Very nice options available. Remember however you will need 220 to 110 converters or purchase all Spanish small appliances. The base then did give us a couple and we bought others. We were fortunate to live where the 'bread man' brought a variety of fresh breads right to our street for us to purchase about twice a week. As well we had a local farmer brings fresh fruits and veggies about three times a week for purchase. Delicious quality produce! We were blessed with wonderful Spanish neighbors that we still keep in touch with to this day!
