Brittany E says: There is no Navy hospital at NBVC. if you live on pt. mugu only active duty can go to the clinic there. dependents have to drive to the clinic at port hueneme to see the dr. if they are on prime. I do find it fairly easy to get referrals to see a specialist in town. I am on Prime and recently had a very high risk twin pregnancy. My babies were monitored by some of the best Dr.'s in Southern California nad delivered at a fabulous hospital that had a NICU filld with UCLA Dr.'s. And because we do not have a Naval hospital I paid not a single dime for my entire pregnancy & delivery.
