I live in the neighborhood of Fireside in Oak Harbor, Wa. This neighborhood is 5 minutes from NAS Whidbey. This is the neighborhood where parents drive their kids every year to go trick or treating. The streets are wide, clean, the area is safe and friendly. We have wonderful neighbors and most have become good friends. There is a park down the street and across, call Ft. Nugent park. It?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s a few years old and was built by volunteers from the community. It has soccer fields, a baseball field, a football field, an amazing park, a basketball court, and plenty of room to run around. If your budget allows it, and you are moving to Oak Harbor, I would say rent or buy in Fireside, no question!
