There is a new high-rise apartment building on the dry side of Naval Base San Diego called Pacific Beacon. It is very nice, has a lot of amenities and available to single sailors or married couples without children or pets. It is the only housing available on NBSD. There are several PPV housing areas off-base, managed by Lincoln Military Housing. There is a wide variety of homes, including townhouses, four-plexes, duplexes and single-family homes. The waiting list for housing in San Diego used to be very long, due to major renovations, but now there is almost no wait at all. Contact your new command ombudsman for the monthly Hot Sheet of availabilities.
