There is not a lot to do for young kids in Naples.  The summers are hot the playgrounds do not have shelter or trees and there are no indoor playplaces.   If you have young kids I recommend living on base.  It makes it easier for kids to play and socialize with other kids rather than having to shuttle them back and forth from your town on the economy.
