When I first moved there I was 7.5 months pregnant with our first child and we lived on the economy (in Licola). And although we loved our house and our landlords we moved to govt housing after only 6 months. Not only was living on the economy very expensive to heat the house and pay for water but I also felt isolated being so far away from the base with a new baby. Also making the drive (30 min) to base 2-3 times a week got old very fast. We are very glad that we moved to govt housing as it has everything we needed. I'm sure other people love living on the economy but with kids I think the Support Site is best  I live in the parcos which are govt housing off base..in Teverola. Not far about 10 min drive.  There are newer apartments on the back side of base past the school that have 3 bedrooms and a very large living area. Those are very nice whereas just past the base there are older flats that only have 2 bedrooms and not very much space at all. I don't think it matters what floor you are on unless you are bringing a dog or have a child you have to carry up and down the stairs. They all have balconies and storage areas but it just depends on if you like walking up and down stairs alot.
