EB Clinic is a "super clinic" - they are renovating it over from being a hospital to just a clinic.  Belleve Medical Center is just up the road from the clinic and base housing (about a five minute drive) and it is a beauitful brand new hospital.  There are also lots of good hospitals downtown Omaha.  I delivered our son at BMC in August 2012 and had a GREAT experience.  The rooms were huge and lovely.  The staff was amazing.  The doctors on base have privileges there which is nice.

BMC is a teaching hospital so be prepared to see residents as well as the attending phyiscians.  This is also true of EB clinic...usually a resident will come in and talk with you before the doctor does.  It adds a little bit of time on but I never minded.

When you first move here there will be paperwork asking if you want to be part of the "family residency clinic" (or something like that).  My husband opted into that when we first moved and wasn't sure what it meant but we quickly decided to opt OUT because it meant that our whole family was being seen by residents in a family program (and it meant that our son wasn't in the peds clinic).  Once we got that straightened out it was fine.

Overall we have had great care here at Offutt.
