Housing on installation?
There is very little housing on base. There is Government leased housing off base in many neighboring towns.
Housing off installation?
There are a lot of places to live off base in non government housing.
Town breakdown:
Rock Island, IL ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú Lower income, a few good neighborhoods. 5-15 minutes to base. Moline/East Moline, IL ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú Small town feel, many good neighborhoods. 5-20 minutes to base. Davenport, IA ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú Bigger city, lots of good neighborhoods. 10-30 minutes to base. Bettendorff,IA ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú More of an upperclass feel, lots of good neighborhoods. 15-30 minutes to base. Rhul & Rhul is a fabulous real estate company and property management company.
