The health clinic here is a joke.  The doctors are rude and overworked.  It's rare that you actually get a same day appointment.  If you have an emergency you have to go to a German ER.  And expect to be hospitalized for a week.  Another reason why we don't like Schweinfurt-the health care is horrible.

I personally dislike the clinic on post its a nightmare trying to get appointments for my boys or myself since they are short on staff but thats the only clinic we can go to thats on base. Now if you are pregnant or need to see an specialist then you would have to get a referral to see a doctor off post which i prefer to do. German doctors are great! and most of them and their staff speak great english :) St joseph hospital is amazing! i delivered my boys there and i loved it!-------Carol W.
