Schools on base are great. My oldest son went to Scandia and loved it there. He had wonderful teachers that would take their time to help in problem areas. He went to Scandia from kindergarten through almost all of 4th grade. My daughter went to Golden West in the middle of her 7th grade year and we really liked the school. Things took a turn South when she went to Vanden. We did not like that school one bit, things got so bad we pulled her out of there and put her in a school called Tech and she excelled and even graduated early.
