We don’t have kids but the place everyone seemed to take them was the Duck Pond (I swear I’m not making that up, everyone called it that!) on the base. It’s a really nice park with a pond, gravel walking path, big playground, picnic tables, and really ugly ducks. Everybody with kids and/or furchildren hung out there on the weekends and after work.
