The DoDEA schools on base have excellent curriculums and parental support. There are many school sports and activities including basketball, track, soccer, volleyball, football, Yearbook Club, Culinary Club, band, and many others. There should be no problems with students finding extracurricular activities to get involved in. All schools have a PTA.

The middle school does not have organized sports but there are middle school clubs and organizations. Middle schoolers may opt to participate in the MWR organized sports.

Unfortunately, the Co-Op Preschool on base is being dissolved this year. The MWR is in the process of starting a preschool at the Child Development Center to assist the 138 displaced children and parents affected by the closing of the Co-Op. As more information becomes available about the new program I will be sure to update.

There are 3 housing areas each with elementary schools on site. The high school and middle schools are on main Yokosuka base. There are schools buses for the students who live out in town or at a different housing area. There are also activity buses for the students that have after school activities.

The high school does not offer a lunch program. Schools are allowed to leave campus for lunch. The high school is centrally located with the main food court across the street and the commissary across the court yard.

The high school also offers an excellent JROTC program.
