  • Any one have any info on on-base housing? Also does anyone have any recommendations for schools in the area for special needs?

  • Hi Suzanne What information are you looking for regarding on-base housing. I know there is a waiting list and they are in the process of upgrading the housing but depending on how "squeaky your wheel is" you may find your wait time is not as long as others. Have you contacted the Housing Office? http://eglinhousing.com/ and http://www.facebook.com/EGLINMFH I think you will find this area to be very abundant in special needs schools and accommodations. Have you spoken with the Exceptional Family Member services yet? http://www.facebook.com/pages/Eglin-AFB-Exceptional-Family-Member-Program-EFMP/113814872051066 Michelle Dent is in charge of that program and she is EXTREMELY knowledgeable and helpful.
