Go to greatschools.org to find the best schools in the area and then start looking for a home to buy or rent.

ELEMENTARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS
One elementary school, Lone Tree, is located on base (on Camp Beale Highway between GavinMandery and Garryana Drives).

Lone Tree has a very good rating at greatschools.org with 8 out of 10 points. That?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s great for an on base school. Bear River in Wheatland has a rating 6 out of 10, which does not seem that great, however parents are pretty satisfied this this school when the overall parent rating is 4 of 5 stars.

Lone Tree school accommodates kindergarten through sixth-grade students. There is no bus service for base residents in the housing areas attending these schools. For additional information, contact Lone Tree School at (530) 788-0248. Seventh and eighth graders attend Bear River School in Wheatland and complete their public education at Wheatland Union High School.

For more information concerning these schools, contact Bear River School at (530) 633-3135 or Wheatland Union High School (530) 633-3100.
