Lots of good public schools and privated schools. My kids attend Parkwood Elementary. For Pre-school my kids attended St. Anne's Day School.

2011-01-14 : I took my daughter to this gym out in town called Classic Allstars cheer and dance. Beware the people are rude they over charged us. Payed for a uniform and I still do not have it paid almost $500 for it.

Review 2011-01-14  : Onslow county schools are okay not the best schools if you can live on the base the schools are much better. I liked the high school was not very happy with the elementary school Mortan. White Oak High school is a wonderful school my son had to have surgery the counselor called me in for a meeting. They had everything together with a plan of how they were going to help him so he would not get behind. The teachers are great they took extra time out of their scedule to tutor him. Hunters Creek Middle is a good school too. We moved from VA and the schools were much better in VA. I was disapointed when we moved to Jacksonville. For the area we made the best choice with White Oak High and Hunters Creek Middle. The middle school parents are very involved in school activities and fund raisers. If you cant get on base housing there is a waiting list its long. Then stay in the White Oak High area. Plus its close to Camp Lejeune.
