2011-01-10 In reference to naval hospital only:
OB/GYN for my pregnancy was wonderful. hardly any wait time. appointments were always scheduled when they should have been.
triage was not so great. there are only four beds! i had pre-eclampsia and was told to go in one time but ended up waiting for FOUR hours still. the doctors were discussing my condition one other time and they had me connected in the triage room for about 8 hours...8 hours in which i was not allowed to go get food and they would not bring me food.
<b>however</b> when my water broke and i went in they had me in a suite within a half hour. it was 8am but they tested to make sure my water broke and admitted me quickly. i had my epidural by 10am.
PEDIATRICS is hard to get an appointment for 'well-baby' check ups. it's often at least two weeks after she turns ## months. but shots are easy to get and don't take very long they have a whole different area for that and no appointment is needed.
FAMILY MEDICINE is where my doctor is. i've had one bad PCM and the one i have now is wonderful =)
