I LOVED the medical at Columbus mostly because it was mainly off base. They have a limited clinic but for anything 'special' you go off base. I delivered my oldest at Baptist Golden Triangle in town. They offered birthing classes and had a new Labor and Delivery floor (which would be 6 years old now). My OB was Dr. Burtman who honestly is kind of a wacko but the nursing staff was phenominal as was my care there.

There is no hospital on Fort Drum, you must use the civilian hospitals in the Watertown, NY area. There is a clinic on post for the soldiers but all dependents use civilian doctors off post! You still have no copayment with Tricare for routine approved care. Just make sure that your doctor is covered by Tricare before any appointments!
