As I?「どィび「ve said before, Fallon is a small town and a small base. The medical facilities on base are limited in what they can and cannot do. You?「どィび「ll find that you will be referred to a doctor out in town more often than not if you need more specialized treatment than what can be offered on base.

Banner Churchill Community Hospital is generally a good place to be seen. The staff is well-trained and courteous, especially in the lab. I?「どィび「ve had to take my children in when I went for bloodwork and the nurses were wonderful about talking to my children and keeping their attention while I was being seen.

The only place we?「どィび「ve had a bad experience is at the ER. They seem to be understaffed and we have found ourselves waiting for hours to be seen. You can tell the staff that is available is stressed, because they tend to do a poor job of hiding it from the patients and it will come out in their bedside manner. My only recommendation is that you are firm with staff and be clear and concise from the get-go. You may also try calling in to the triage nurse prior to going in to see if you can take care of the problem at home.
