Pre-schools: I can recommend Honey MacCallum Christian Preschool as my two children went there. Great teachers great program. They offer a Mother's Morning Out program for kids 2-3 (not potty trained is OK). It is mainly an organized but free-play time with a snack stories and maybe a craft. Perfect to get kids used to being away from mommy in a safe and friendly environment. They also have a Pre-School and Pre-K program. These are more structured and focus a bit more on academics. IMO it is a perfect balance of introducing them to more structured activities as they progress through the programs. Afterall 4 year olds still need time to play too!------------ Another pre-school my friends used was Little SonBeams in Lexington Park. They were all very pleased with the program. Little SonBeams provides the children with snacks.----------- Evergreen Elementary is known as the top-performing school at this time. Leonardtown High School is the preferred public high school.-------Betsy M
