THE CLINIC has improved considerably since our arrival here three years ago. Just this week, we were introduced to ?¢‚Ǩ?ìGroup Management?¢‚Ǩ¬ù where we have not only a PCM assigned to us, but a team of corpsman and nurses. So I think that?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s going to help. We have seen several doctors during our time here and have liked them all. It?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s not too difficult to get an appointment anymore, although at a time there was. But what people didn?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t realize was that a few of our doctors were sent on IA missions, so that?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s understandable.
Other important numbers to know are:
Appointment line: 800-404-4506
Clinic Direct Line: 425-304-4142 -someone always answers here ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú a real live person!
Don?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t really see that number advertised, so jot it down!
MEDICAL RECORDS!!
I have heard this same problem from MANY MANY people here. Your medical records will get lost, misplaced, etc! Keep track of them, ask to see them periodically, lay hands on them! Especially if you have a healthy family and are not seen periodically, they?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢ll ?¢‚Ǩ?ìretire?¢‚Ǩ¬ù your records into a black hole. My son was categorized as both ?¢‚Ǩ?ìdeceased?¢‚Ǩ¬ù and ?¢‚Ǩ?ìinvisible?¢‚Ǩ¬ù which made him giggle, but that was actually the status he was given! We are preparing for a PCS move and now my daughter?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s records are missing. Got a great First Class helping me retrieve them from all over, but I have my own copies as a back up as well. So be aware!
DENTAL
No Dental on base for dependents. Referred to civilian dentists, see United Concordia list. I live in Marysville and highly recommend Dr. Mike Cho at DDS Dental. He just got my whole family caught us for Overseas Medical Screening in 10 days! And we needed some work! He was great and totally helped us finish in time for our OSMS appointment! Awesome with kids
