HOUSING NS EVERETT
800.876.7022

Navy Housing for Naval Station Everett is basically split into three areas:
v 1) Carroll?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s Creek Landing ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú Smokey Point area, privatized-housing, honestly, not highly recommended. Closest housing to Commissary, NEX, Target, restaurants across the street. School district is ok.
v 2) Constitution Park (AKA Forest City)- newest housing, also privatized. Less than two years old. In Lake Steven?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s area, great school district. Right now having some problems with the big influx of Military families / students, but parent?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s are still happy with district. I?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢m sure it will work itself out soon.

3) Civilian Housing ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú great option for this area (depending on your BAH of course). But a lot of great family homes available and very affordable. Since there are a great number of rentals available, Renters are able to negotiate. Landlords love to hear ?¢‚Ǩ?ìMilitary Allottment?¢‚Ǩ¬ù! :D

@@@ MARYSVILLE, WA is a city highly overlooked in most the the Official Navy websites. I am not sure why since a great majority of our Military Community live here. It has a quiet, family community feel, but close to everything. Great rentals and family housing. Schools and community are highly military friendly. HOWEVER IF you have a High Schooler whose into sports (particularly Football) recent budget cuts have hurt this district?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s program. @@@

** Ft. Lawton ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú older housing, large duplex and some single family I believe. In Seattle, O-5 and above
** Brier, don?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t really know of anyone living there from NS Everett, it?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s not highly advertised. Older housing, from the 50?¢‚Ǩ¬?s, Single family homes, 3 bedroom, carports, fenced yards, pets ok. E-1 ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú E-9.

** Jim Creek ?¢‚Ǩ‚Äú Not really housing, a Recreation area, a GREAT rec area. I have known people stationed here 4 years who have never bothered to go out and visit. DO NOT PASS THIS PLACE UP! There are a couple (2 or 3) Military houses there, but not generally offered unless affiliated with Jim Creek.

CIVILIAN HOUSING NEIGHBORHOODS: If I had to narrow it down to the four cities I would recommend for Civilian Housing it would be: Marysville, Mulkiteo, Mill Creek, Lake Stevens. After speaking with may other families (of various ranks) it seems to be the consensus considering school districts, commute, price and communit
