There are a lot of fun things to do with kids in Germany. We went to the zoo?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢s and wild parks a lot. I enclosed the link for the zoos around Germany. There is also a Sea life Aquarium in Speyer about 30 mins away that is nice for the kids. It is small and a little expensive though. There is also a wonderful Aircraft, plane and train Museum right down the road from Sea Life that is fun for the kids. Try to go on a nice day though cause the day we went was rainy and we had to run outside to see some things and got wet. Also there is a huge slide that comes out of one of the planes that the kids can slide down. There are some nice parks for the kids that are near lakes. If you ask someone about the mud park they should be abled to tell you how to get there. Make sure that you dress the kids in something you don?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t care about cause it is hard to get that mud out!!! There are also a lot of great indoor pools to take the kids to. The new one that they built on base is nice but the lifeguards are attentive and if your kids are not over 6 they can not go on the slide. Also if you kids misbehave they will have a time out on the side of the pool. The german pools are more laid back as there are no lifeguards walking around and you are responsible for your own kids. If you google Germany water parks you can find some nice ones not to far away!
There is also Legoland that is about 3 hours away near Stuttgart and of course you are only 4 hours from Paris and Disney!!!
