There is a Medical Clinic on SHAPE. Your primary physicians, Dental, and Eye doctors are there. For emergency care you have to go to a Hospital off post on the economy. They do not have GYNs or OBGYNS there. Anything you need that they do not offer there you can get refereals to go out on the economy and SHAPE will help set up the appts for you or you can be refered to Germany.

There is a health clinic (not hospital anymore) directly on SHAPE. Appointments are easy to get, and the place is always almost deserted when we go. My son had a referral from a doctor at our old duty station to get his heart checked out, and within a week we saw a Greek pediatric surgeon who happened to be on staff at the clinic?｢どｨｬｶhe did an amazing job (and my son is okay).
The dental clinic has dependent sick call from 0800-1000 in the mornings. I think they are losing hygienists, as it was easy to get an appt this summer?｢どｨｬｶnot so easy this Fall. Some go offpost, as there are plenty of English speaking dentists who take Concordia Dental (Tricare). There is an orthodontist on staff, but he does not take all dependent patients. You?｢どｨび｢d better be wearing braces to even be considered. There is one that I have heard of off post that is good who takes Tricare as well and speaks English.
