If you live either on base or anywhere near the Academy then you will be in District 20. They are some of the best schools in the state. The Air Force Academy actually has a high school on its facility in the Pine Valley subdivision called Air Academy. District 20 also has an IB elementary school where the children are immersed in the French language (I hear there is a waiting list to get into the school), and it also has several charter elementary schools. Rampart High School is an IB accredited high school. All the schools have high academic standards and TONS of extra curricular activities to choose from.

There are a few private Christian schools in the area, along with at least one private Catholic school. I don?¢‚Ǩ‚Ñ¢t know much about them though.
